Steve has been in the Healthcare transition space for 15 years. Serving as the primary project executive in over 10,000,000 square feet of transition space, and providing leadership oversight of over 20,000,000 square feet of space, Steve’s work has touched numerous hospitals and communities.  He has also traveled globally to speak about challenges and best practices in healthcare move management and activation.

Driven by innovation, Steve’s education in lean processes helps him assist in clients’ transitions while focusing on patient-centric risk management.  He is particularly skilled at integrating multiple disciplines into streamlined project plans.

Vice President of Capital Equipment Planning

With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry and a background in engineering, Mike has held positions with medical equipment manufacturers, medical equipment service delivery companies, and multi-facility hospital groups.

His work focuses on the total equipment life cycle - from assessment to procurement, delivery, installation, and certification.  He has provided medical equipment planning services for new hospitals, hospital additions, hospital renovations, and outpatient facilities.

Emily has more than 10 years of experience in Workplace Research, Strategy Development, Change Management, and Corporate Training.  A true strategist and empath at heart, Emily specializes in developing and implementing workplace strategies that cater to the employee. Emily has worked with organizations in all sectors and at all scales to develop innovative workplace solutions that transform the ways people work.

Her passion for excellence and commitment to developing and implementing well-defined change management initiatives has resulted in successful transitions for clients such as Eli Lilly and Co., Roche Diagnostics, Cummins Engine, OneAmerica, BorgWarner and Rolls-Royce. Over the past 10 years, she has guided over 20,000 employees through the workplace transformation journey.

With over ten years of clinical engineering experience and two years of project management experience in supporting healthcare clients of all sizes, Michael empowers project stakeholders to make impactful and efficient decisions around equipment planning and procurement. He believes that equipment planning is holistic by definition, from initial equipment planning to room destination delivery.

From preventative maintenance work to budget management, Michael has a well-rounded skill set. His passion lies in improving efficiency and productivity in complex healthcare projects.

Senior Project Manager

With over 30 years of experience managing medical equipment, Barry has played a significant role in planning, budgeting, and procurement.

Barry has played a variety of roles when it comes to medical equipment, including multiple monitor and infusion pump replacement projects.  Additionally, as part of a previous role as Director of Clinical Engineering, Barry specified and budgeted yearly capital expenditures for multiple departments in a large hospital system. A published author and former adjunct faculty member, Barry has shared his expertise throughout the entire healthcare community.

Joe Shiplett

Senior Director of Operations

Joe brings more than 20 years of national and international experience in operations management and project management in the healthcare, construction, warehousing, and manufacturing industries.  More specifically, he has been involved in initial outfitting, QA/QC, transition planning, activation planning and services, relocation services, move management, disposition services, and lean supply management.

Joe holds numerous continuing education certifications in both lean and quality management studies, and is a member of the Project Management Institute.  He holds a Construction Quality Management Certification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is a veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne.

Senior Account Manager

With over 17 years in the healthcare profession, Melissa’s experience ranges from facilities project management to hospital marketing communications management for a large hospital system.

Her deep understanding of healthcare facilities’ plans to grow their networks - from financial forecasting and management, to design development, to construction management, to managing the move itself – enables her to easily see the client perspective and develop solutions to meet unique client needs. With Six Sigma and PMP certifications under her belt, Melissa’s eye for detail and efficiency brings incredible value to clients.

Lisa Esdorn

Senior Project Coordinator

Lisa has worked in the healthcare space for five years, coordinating over 60 healthcare projects ranging from single department moves to large-scale renovations and new facilities. Her work has touched a variety of facility types, including new general hospitals and medical buildings with specific specialties, such as cancer centers and joint and spine centers.

While she is passionate about equipment and coordination, what she loves the most about being in healthcare is the knowledge that the work she does helps humankind as an end result. She also enjoys putting her Certificate in Human Rights to work; for Lisa, the patients are always the focus.

Project Coordinator

Mariah is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati. Her experience in restaurant management - which included vendor management, inventory management, and operations -  serve her well in her role as project coordinator.
